Gandia-Rosa Signs With Jonava CBet

Guard Continues Pro Career After Playing in Latvia-Estonia League Last Year

JONAVA, Lithuania - Former UNF guard Ivan Gandia-Rosa continues his professional career after signing with CBet BC Jonava of Lithuania last week. The lefty has been playing professionally since graduating in 2020, while most recently playing in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League a year ago. 

Gandia-Rosa also competed in Cyprus and with Inter Bratislava in Slovakia, averaging nearly 20 points per game with them as the All-Slovakian League Import Player of the Year. With BK Ventspils last year, Gandia-Rosa averaged 13.8 points per game, 3.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists and a steal per contest, aiding in their path to the championship final. 

While at UNF, Gandia-Rosa became the first-ever player in league history to pace the conference in assists in three-straight years. He was a two-time all-league pick, National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District pick and a member of the 1,000-point and 500-assist club. 

The Caguas, P.R., native ended his career atop the UNF career-assists chart, while ranking fourth in that category. He also poured in 1,259 points in 99 games with his ability to shoot the ball and get to the rim.
