JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (29-23-1, 10-13-1 ASUN) drops the series finale in the River City Rumble to Jacksonville (25-26, 11-13 ASUN), 11-5, on Saturday evening at the UNF Softball Complex. With the loss, North Florida is eliminated from ASUN Postseason contention.
After trailing by one run in the fourth, the Ospreys responded quickly with a solo home run from
Chloe Culp to tie the game. JU took the lead back in the fifth and extended it in the seventh to take the final game of the season.

Behind the Line Score
- Both pitchers did a good job of handling runners on as things were tied, 0-0, through three.
- JU took a 1-0 lead with a walk and two singles in the fourth.
- Culp evened things up on one swing in the fourth, ripping a high fastball for a solo shot to left center.
- JU took a 2-1 lead in the fifth on a two-out double off the left field wall.
- Shannon Glover prevented further damage, throwing out a JU runner at the plate as JU attempted to score on a single to left.
- UNF put the pressure on JU in the fifth. Mackenzie Woods drew a leadoff walk and Kayla Harper legged out an infield single, but JU escaped with an inning-ending groundout to strand two.
- JU scored nine runs on seven hits to take a 11-1 lead in the seventh.
- The Ospreys added offense late with four runs in the bottom of the seventh, but it wasn't enough to win the series finale against JU.
