JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Down to the last out, North Florida baseball (28-27, 13-17 ASUN) rallied to score two in the ninth and tie things, 2-2, but Jacksonville (33-22, 17-13 ASUN) eventually won on a walk-off solo home run to left in the 11th inning of the regular season finale Saturday, May 20.
The 3-2 loss was UNF's first defeat in five tries in extras this year as the Ospreys came up just short of ASUN postseason contention. North Florida would have needed a win and Austin Peay loss later today as the Ospreys got some help with Central Arkansas' win against EKU today.

Behind the Line Score
- UNF had three potential hits including two liners caught by JU starter Blake Barquin in the first. The second saw Alex Lodise open the frame with a double into the left field corner, but JU got a flyout, groundout and punchout to get out of it.
- JU broke the 0-0 stalemate in the fifth. Blake DeLamielleure doubled just past a diving Cade Reich in left center before coming around on a single through the left side off of Colin Wetterau's bat.
- With two outs, Jakob Runnels walked and Lodise laced a single to left. Gabriel Esquivel gave one a ride to right, but it hung up.
- DeLamielleure struck again with a triple on a liner to center that got past a diving Austin Brinling. A sac fly would bring him in to make it 2-0.
- Matthew Clements opened the 8th with a single up the middle before JU worked consecutive groundouts. Runnels walked but righty Heston Mosley got a key strikeout.
- Righty Lance Bolton danced around a perilous bases loaded and nobody out situation to keep it 2-0 in the eighth.
- Down to their final three outs, UNF got two to keep the season alive. Esquivel was hit by a pitch, Cade Reich was walked and Drew Leinenbach put down a sac bunt. Pinch hitter Peyton Sybrandt rolled an RBI groundout and Reich scored the tying run after JU third baseman Kris Armstrong kicked a slow roller off Matthew Clements' bat.
- Ian Brown coaxed a leadoff walk in the 10th as UNF eventually got runners to second and third with two outs. JU escaped with an inning-ending groundout.
- DeLamielleure hit a walk-off homer to left in the 11th to win.
