JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (26-20-1) picked up a pair of wins in its final non-conference games of the season, as
Skyler Stockie highlighted the day with her no-hitter in the second doubleheader against Georgia Southern (17-28) on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ospreys were tied at 3-3 in the first game in the bottom of the sixth before
Kelsey Vogel stepped up with the go-ahead RBI single for the win. Stockie took over the circle in game two with her first complete game of the season to lock up a no-hit bid on 76 total pitches. It was the first no-hitter for an Osprey pitcher in over 13 months.

Behind the Line Score
- Georgia Southern pushed across one run after a leadoff double, sac bunt and flared RBI single down the line in the first.
- With two outs in the first, Shannon Glover and Chloe Culp laced consecutive singles into center before Abi Annett hooked a two-RBI double into the left field corner.
- The Eagles got even with an RBI double in the top of the second.
- UNF had a good opportunity in the second, getting the first two runners on, but Georgia Southern got out of it.
- Glover went down to get a pitch and hit a rocket over the wall in center for a 3-2 lead.
- Georgia Southern came through with a clutch two-out RBI single through the left side in the sixth to even things at 3-3.
- Vogel came through in the clutch in the bottom of the sixth. Mackenzie Woods singled up the middle, Savannah Channell walked and with two outs Kelsey Vogel sprayed an RBI single to right center to make it 4-3 UNF.

Behind the Line Score
- Ospreys scored early in the first with an RBI single from Culp to go up 1-0.
- Glover earned a triple in the third inning for UNF but a strikeout ended the chance of a two-run lead.
- With runners in scoring position, Woods took one to right field to bring in a run in the fourth.
- Back-to-back strikeouts in the fifth for Stockie continued the no-hitter with back-to-back 1-2-3 innings.
- A fielder's choice from Georgia Southern scored another run in the fifth to go up 3-0.
- Maegan Calandra put together a pinch-hit triple, followed with an single from Harper, extend their lead to five.
