Behind the Line Score
  • Austin Brinling and Jakob Runnels singled to get UNF with runners at the corners in the first, but UF escaped.
  • The Gators put one on the board in the bottom half after Wyatt Langford doubled and Josh Rivera scored him on a bloop single to right.
  • Luke Heyman hit a solo home run to left field for a 2-0 lead in the second.
  • Jac Caglianone took a low and away changeup to right that was initially ruled a home run. It would be reviewed and updated as a double after the ball landed in between the padding on the fence in right. He would eventually score on a sac fly in foul territory.
  • Cherokee Nichols doubled off the wall in left to give UNF a chance at runs in the fourth, but a Dallen Leach liner was caught to strand two Ospreys in the fourth.
  • UNF got to UF in the fifth, putting up two runs. Aidan Sweatt reached on an infield single and scored after stealing second via a Brinling double to right. Brinling scored one batter later on a Runnels RBI single to right center.
  • The Ospreys knocked on the door of a big inning in the eighth. Cade Reich reached on an infield single and Nichols chopped a single through the left side. But, UF got out of it with a punchout and fly out.
  • UF got some insurance in the eighth, scoring three. Langford singled, Rivera walked and BT Riopelle plated Langford with a single before advancing to second on the throw. Heyman added another with a single and Colby Halter completed the scoring with a sac fly.
  • Alex Lodise gave a ball a ride with two on in the ninth but it was caught on the track as UF closed it out.
