JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball plays one more game before the holiday break with a midweek matinee matchup against Winthrop on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 12 p.m., in UNF Arena.
The Ospreys come back from a road trip to No. 12 Kansas State, but had previously won three of the past four games before then. UNF will look to start its stand of four straight home games strong against the Eagles.

- The Ospreys have gone 3-2 in their last five games with its losses to undefeated Saint Joseph's and No. 12 Kansas State in that stretch.
- UNF is also 3-1 at home so far this season with wins against Trinity Baptist, Warner and Piedmont.

- Jayla Adams has the top mark for assists on the season with 4.3 APG, while no one else has over an average of two per game.

- Winthrop comes into Jacksonville, Fla., with a 6-5 overall record and a 1-2 record on the road.
- The Eagles have played against three Power Five teams (Clemson, Alabama & Texas A&M).
- Also played fellow ASUN opponent at home against Queens (N.C.), where they suffered a close loss, 64-61.
- Recovered afterwards with back-to-back wins against Carolina University and Georgia State before this matchup.
- The team was picked to finish seventh of nine teams in the Big South Preseason Poll.
- Jada Ryce was also selected to the Big South Preseason All-Conference Second Team.
- Marissa Gasaway is the lone Eagle to average double-digit points with 10.6 PPG.
- She also leads the team with 10.5 RPG and is one of three players averaging 1.5+ SPG.
