JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball will be ready to take on its biggest challenge of the season when it goes on the road to face No. 12/16 Kansas State on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 5 p.m. ET, in Manhattan, Kan.
This will be the first time the Ospreys will be playing against a ranked opponent since facing No. 25/22 FGCU on Feb. 19, 2022, as well as a top-12 opponent since No. 6/8 NC State on Nov. 25, 2020. UNF is coming off of back-to-back wins and are searching for its third consecutive victory for the first time since the 2021-22 season.

FROM THE JUMP
- Ospreys are looking to continue its run of three wins over the last four games for the first time since Jan. 29, 2022.
- This will be the second team that UNF will play this season that is currently ranked in the top 25 of the AP Poll.
- Could win back-to-back games on the road for the first time since Mar. 5-6, 2021, against Bellarmine.
- It will also complete their road non-conference slate with their next away matchup not being until Jan. 11, 2024, against Kennesaw State.
- Alexa Washington is coming off a record-breaking performance with nine made threes to take over the program record.
- Her career-high 31 points bumped her average up to 11.0 PPG, which joins Kaila Rougier and Lyric Swann in double figures.
- Washington (26-for-71) and Swann (25-for-71) are the top shooters from range with almost identical numbers.
- Emma Broermann, Selma Eklund and Jayla Adams continue to start in every game so far this year.
SCOUTING REPORT
- Kansas State welcomes UNF with a 9-1 record, including an undefeated mark at home through four games.
- The Wildcats' marquee wins this season have been against No. 2/2 Iowa and No. 18/17 North Carolina.
- Its lone loss of the year was a rematch against the Hawkeyes at the Gulf Coast Showcase on a neutral court.
- It heads into this matchup with three consecutive wins against Jackson State, McNesse State and Missouri.
- This will be the first of three games for the Wildcats in a five game span with Oral Roberts and Southern on deck.
- KSU is 8-0 all-time against current members of the ASUN Conference.
- Ayoka Lee has been the leader of this squad with a team-best 19.1 PPG, 7.6 RPG and 1.9 BPG.
- Serena Sundell joins Lee with double-digit scoring numbers with 10.0 PPG and a team-high 4.9 APG.
- Gabby Gregory and Jaelyn Glenn are the three-point snipers combining for 28 makes from beyond the arc.
- Brylee Glenn join the other as a regular starter, as they have used the same lineup in all 10 games played.
