JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Kaila Rougier had a career performance putting together 18 points and 14 boards for her second career double-double, as North Florida women's basketball (2-6) takes home its second win of the year against Warner (4-3), 68-51, on Wednesday evening at UNF Arena.
The Ospreys had four double-digit scorers with
Kyla Cain,
Selma Eklund and
Lyric Swann joining Rougier with great performances against the Royals. Cain played her best game yet as a true freshman shooting 6-for-7 from the field with a career-high 13 points.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
First Half: Ospreys came out hot with a 9-0 run to open the game with makes coming from Rougier and Swann on the outside...Rougier came back with another long ball in the opening period to make the score 12-4...a late layup from Cain assisted by
Jayla Adams put the Ospreys up nine at the end of the first...Cain joined
Emma Broermann with posting up in the point to fight for layups early in the second...another scoring run for UNF ended the first half with 11 consecutive points and a 14-2 run finished by a Swann three-pointer with under five seconds left.
Second Half: Broermann and Eklund continued their dominance with give the Ospreys a 44-18 lead...Cain had a pair of layups in the midst of the third period, followed by Eklund's score to keep the strong lead heading into the fourth...Eklund returned for the first points of the fourth for UNF with Cain coming back with an and-one bucket moments later...Rougier put the finishing touches with late points to secure the second win of the season at home, 68-51.
