JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - In the middle of playing six of seven games on the road, North Florida women's basketball comes back home for a bounce back opportunity against Warner on Wednesday, Nov. 29, with tip-off set for 7 p.m., at UNF Arena.
Wednesday's matchup will be broadcasted on ESPN+. Updates for the game will be made through live stats, as well as on Twitter at OspreyWBB and on Instagram at OspreysWBB.
FROM THE JUMP
- Returns home for the first time since Monday, Nov. 13, against FAU.
- Most recently played back-to-back days against Georgia Southern and USC Upstate in the GATA Turkey Throwdown.
- Will be last game played during the month of November.
- Kaila Rougier leads the team in scoring with 11.3 PPG, followed by Lyric Swann and Jayla Adams with both at just over 10 PPG.
- Swann returned to the starting lineup in both games at GATA Turkey Throwdown with 22 points combined.
- Selma Eklund has been a monster on the boards as of recent to take over the team lead at 5.3 RPG.
- She combined for 17 rebounds over the weekend as well setting a new personal-best mark.
- The redshirt sophomore also continues to lead the team in minutes played with a 31.0 MPG average.
- Alexa Washington joins Swann and Rougier as the only UNF players with 10+ 3PT made, while Adams is the lone Osprey with at least 30 field goals made.
- The first of two teams UNF will play with the nickname "Royals" (Warner & Queens (N.C.)).
SCOUTING REPORT
- Warner sits at 4-3 overall, including a 2-0 record on the road.
- Picked up three straight wins before dropping a game on Saturday, Nov. 25, to Mayville State, 62-67.
- Also opened at home against Trinity Baptist with a 90-51 win on Monday, Oct. 30, who the Ospreys beat in their home opener, 116-44.
- Will only count as an exhibition towards the record of Warner in the matchup on Wednesday.
- Jasmine Edwards is the leader of Warner with 16.7 PPG and 11.6 RPG, while playing 32.4 MPG.
- Courtney Logan is the only player on the team with double-digit three-pointers, as no other Royal has more than five over the first seven games.
- Dianis Hurtado, Chyna Bullen and Kalyah Watson fill out the rest of the starting lineup that has been used for all seven games so far this year.
AN OSPREY WIN AGAINST WARNER WOULD...
