FORT MYERS, Fla. - North Florida (17-15) had second-seeded Lipscomb (21-7) on the ropes, but the Bisons were able to stave off UNF's match point in the fourth as the Ospreys bowed out of the Atlantic Sun Championship Semifinals in a five-set heartbreaker Friday, Nov. 17.
Maddie Boyd tied the UNF DI era single game blocks record with 12, while
Kailey McKnight had a game-high 17 kills.

Inside the Sets
- Set 1: UNF gained an early lead, but Lipscomb rallied to take its first advantage, 13-12 … from there the Bisons went on a 9-4 run and carried the lead to the first set win.
- Set 2: North Florida turned on an unbelievable rally after being down 15-11 … a 7-0 run catapulted the Ospreys in front as UNF took the lead and evened things up.
- Set 3: With momentum in hand, North Florida hit .500 and throttled the Bisons for a 2-1 advantage.
- Set 4: Despite a massive scoring run to start the session, Lipscomb rallied and produced 17 kills to UNF's 11, tying things up … UNF did get match point, up 25-24, but the Bisons won the next three points to push it to five frames.
- Set 5: Both teams were tied at 4-4, but Lipscomb took the one-point lead and never let it up, going on a 4-0 run … the Ospreys got within two, but Lipscomb won a key challenge and earned a 12-8 lead … the Bisons clinched it four points later.
