Women's Basketball Defeats Jacksonville in River City Rematch

Wesolek Sets Career-High Scoring Mark with 21 Points

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Two days after playing the JU Dolphins at their place, North Florida women's basketball (6-13, 3-6 ASUN) rebounded from its loss across town to defeat Jacksonville (9-10, 3-6 ASUN), 74-70, in a rematch on Saturday afternoon at UNF Arena.

The Ospreys had big plays down the stretch to solidify their first conference win at home since their upset over Liberty. Back-to-back three pointers from Lyric Swann in crunch time, along with made free throws, broke a four-game losing streak for UNF in conference play.
