JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's soccer (0-6, 0-2 ASUN) was not able to capitalize on opportunities in its conference home opener, as the Ospreys dropped a Saturday night match to the Hatters (3-2-3, 2-0-0 ASUN).
The Ospreys had 11 total shots, with three shots on goal, including a
Jaylen Yearwood header that clanked off the crossbar. UNF brought the heat in the second half with seven shots compared to the Hatters' two, but it was too late as the match closed in favor of Stetson, 2-0, as the rain fell at Hodges Stadium.

FROM THE MOUTH OF MARINATOS
"Credit to Stetson, they were collective and earned a result that was deserved. I thought we started very slow and played with a lack of fight and passion, as a collective group, until we were down 2-0. We have to regroup and get back to our identity."
