JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Thanks to three innings of at least three runs and a total of 12-unanswered runs, North Florida baseball (16-22) blew past The Citadel (19-16), 12-3, at Harmon Stadium Tuesday, April 19.
Four different Ospreys tallied multi-hit games, paced by
Brock Edge's three-hit night and
Abraham Sequera's four-RBI day.
On the hill,
Dominick Madonna spun 2.0 scoreless in his first appearance since two months to the date when he went 5.2 innings against Presbyterian Feb. 19. Freshman
Scott Griesemer picked up the win in relief, hurling 3.2 scoreless frames while fanning four and permitting just two singles.

Behind the Line Score
- After a couple of quick innings, The Citadel pushed across a run in the third. A fielding error, productive groundout and RBI single to left scored one.
- UNF evaded danger in the fourth despite allowing one run on a sac fly.
- The Ospreys worked their first hits of the game, getting singles from Brock Edge and Aidan Sweatt in the fourth. Cade Westbrook was also hit by a pitch, but the Bulldogs got a strikeout to strand the bags loaded.
- Citadel went up 3-0 with a two-out RBI through the left side in the fifth.
- UNF got even with The Citadel thanks to Abraham Sequera's three-run two-out triple down the right field line in the fifth, scoring Justin Holmes, Isaiah Byars and Brock Edge.
- The Ospreys took a 7-3 lead in the sixth thanks to more crooked numbers. After UNF loaded the bags, Justin Holmes drove in two with a long single to right.
- Isaiah Byars hit a roller to shortstop, but the throw home was muffed by the Citadel catcher, allowing Blake Pound to score.
- Sequera added to the lead and his RBI total for the game, scoring Byars with a double to right center.
- Byars launched a two-run home run to left center in the eighth, giving UNF a 9-3 lead.
- Just a batter later, Edge doubled off the wall in center and eventually scored on a Cade Westbrook RBI groundout.
- A miscue on a fly ball off Dallen Leach's bat scored another, just before Trey Spratling-Williams reached on an infield single that allowed Leach to score UNF's 12th run.
