JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (16-5) held its seventh-straight opponent scoreless in the Ospreys' rout of Saint Francis (10-9), 6-0, to close out the weekend undefeated in the UNF-JU Spring Break Challenge on Sunday afternoon.
It's the first time since the 2013 season that the Ospreys have shut out seven consecutive opponents. It is also their eighth-straight victory, which is the most wins in a row since meeting that mark from Mar. 10-17, 2019.
Halle Arends continued her dominance in the circle with six innings pitched while totaling nine strikeouts and only allowing one walk.
Paige Pfent had a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate with a run scored to help lift the Ospreys to their fifth win of the weekend.

Behind the Line Score
- Arends was in trouble early in the first with the bases loaded, but was able to get out of the jam with a strikeout.

Shannon Glover hit a sac-fly deep into center field to send in
Kayla Harper home from third to grab the 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
- Arends found rhythm in the second inning after striking out all three batters to get the Ospreys back to the plate.

Hayley Bejarano started to increase the total for UNF with her single that sent in
Savannah Channell for the score, followed by a bases-loaded walk drawn by
Abi Annett.
- More damage was made in the third with an RBI-single by
Regan Hermeling, and then
Hadlee Reichert goes home on a wild pitch to lead by five through three innings.
- It stayed quiet through a few innings until Glover struck again with an RBI-single for Channell to score once again.

Erin Kyle pitched the last inning of the game to lock up a 6-0 win and wrap up the home tournament weekend at UNF Softball Complex.
