Series History
  • UNF and USF meet for the 14th time in series history. 
  • This will be the ninth meeting in USF territory. 
  • North Florida and USF last met Feb. 21, 2021 in Tampa.
  • USF leads the all-time series, 10-3.
  • Kendall Nash, Ana Paula Melilo, Kit Gulihur and Summer Yardley all competed in the last meeting with USF, four members of the current UNF women's tennis squad.

Scouting Report
  • USF's roster features eight student-athletes, including five upperclassmen.
  • Cristina Moros heads the USF women's tennis program, followed by assistant coach Ariel Gaitan. 
  • Moros took over the USF women's tennis program in May 2015. Since Moros, the Bulls have posted a winning record in three out of four seasons. 
  • USF went 8-15 last season and went to the second round of the American Athletic Conference Championship.
  • Grace Schumacher was the only Bull to pick up a win in their postseason loss. She defeated #99 Evgeniya Levashova at court two in 2021. 
  • USF is 1-3 for the start of the spring 2022 season.

News Updates
  • Kit Gulihur has received Jan. 25 ASUN Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors.
  • Gulihur is ranked No. 32 in the ITA singles rankings and No. 9 in doubles with Ana Paula Melilo.
  • Summer Yardley picked up her first Power 5 win against Iowa at the Indoor ITA. Kickoff in Athens, GA. 
  • Annabelle Davis earned her third Power 5 win this year against Iowa at the Indoor ITA.
  • Kit Gulihur and Isabel Oliveira were tied 4-4 in doubles against No. 3 Georgia. It was left unfinished.

What's in Store?
  • UNF plays 10 home matches this spring.
  • The Ospreys are on the road again Feb. 8 to play FSU and FAMU in Tallahassee. 
  • North Florida competes against six different conferences during the season, going against teams from the SEC, ACC, Sun Belt, C-USA, AAC and ASUN.
  • North Florida doesn't play its home opener until February 12.
  • The Ospreys will face SEC schools FSU, Auburn and Missouri.
