• The Huskies pushed one across in the second on a bases-loaded walk. Another run was taken off the board when an RBI groundout turned into an illegal steal and double play.
• Casey Dana hit an RBI double high off the wall in the third to score another Uconn runner in the third.
• UConn put up a six spot in the fifth inning thanks to two hits, two errors, three hit batters and a walk.
• Erik Stock hit a home run to left to put UConn up 9-0 in the eighth.
