GAINESVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (8-3) falters a second consecutive night to No. 3 Florida (12-0), 8-0, in five innings on Wednesday, Feb. 23, from Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium.

Behind the Line Score
- Florida took a quick lead in the first when a batter was hit by pitch with the bases loaded.
- Maggie Trgo made a great diving catch in right field moments afterwards but it brought in another runner for the Gators.
- UF opened up the scoring in the third after a bases-clearing RBI double to give them a five-run lead.
- They added on two more runs in the third before Izzy Kelly came in for relief and rung up the third out.
- The Gators added one more run with another RBI double in the bottom of the fourth.
- Kayla Harper made an incredible catch in center with runners in scoring position to end the inning.
- The Ospreys had a runner on second but couldn't send her home in the top of the fifth.

The Ospreys will stay on the road when they head down to play in The Spring Games tournament from Feb. 25-27 in Leesburg, Fla. They will play Iowa and Notre Dame on Friday afternoon, Rutgers on Saturday afternoon, and finish the weekend against Siena and Princeton.
