NASHVILLE, Tenn. - UNF women's soccer was not able to tame a red hot Lipscomb offense as the Ospreys (3-6-1, 2-3 ASUN) dropped a 3-0 decision to the Bisons (9-4-1, 6-0 ASUN) in the penultimate road match of the 2022 regular season.
The Ospreys were forced to make an early change in goal with
Sofia Miliancano having to depart just six minutes into the contest.
Rachel Fishkin took over in net and went on to make five saves throughout the match. Lipscomb's eventual game-winner came when Alivia Carapazza opened the scoring for the hosts in the 16th minute with a long-range effort from just past midfield. The Bisons put two more in the net thanks to a penalty kick and one final insurance tally in the second frame.
Lipscomb came into the contest on a five-match winning streak, while North Florida was looking to extend its streak to three games.
