ATLANTA - A successful day two at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regionals saw Kit Gulihur advance through two rounds of the main singles draw, while Isabel Oliveira joined Gulihur in defeating the third-seeded pair from Georgia in the doubles main draw round of 32.

Gulihur and Oliveira pulled out a thrilling tiebreaker victory against Guillermina Grant and Dasha Vidmanova of Georgia, taking the one-set match, 8-7 (7-5). By knocking off the bracket's three seed, UNF's pair moves on to face Sierra Berry and Grace Schumacher of USF tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Gulihur followed up that big win by taking two singles matches, advancing to the round of 16 in the process. The No. 43 nationally-ranked singles player and four seed in the regional tournament took care of Florida State's Anna Arkadianou, 6-1, 6-4. Gulihur felled another in-state opponent in FAU's Martina Kudelova, grinding out an impressive comeback win. The round of 16 decision went to Gulihur, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (10-8).

Megan Forster and Annabelle also competed in the main draw, but dropped their respective matches to power five opponents in Georgia and Miami.
