JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida softball saw its season come to an end after it fell in the final game of the ASUN South Divisional with Jacksonville grabbing a 2-0 win at the UNF Softball Complex.

How it Happened
- Both teams went down in order in the opening frame and Clausen did it again in the top of the second.
- Shannon Glover got aboard in the bottom of the inning, but Bilodeau forced three straight ground outs to end the threat.
- Jacksonville (28-18) led off with a single in the top of the third and a triple brought the run home.
- The Dolphins followed up with a run in the fourth with a walk, stolen base and deep RBI single for the 2-0 lead.
- UNF (21-22) loaded the bases in the bottom of the fourth and had runners on in the fifth to try to plate runs, unfortunately each time the JU defense and Bilodeau shut down the inning and end any threat.
- Jacksonville saw six straight outs to end the game.
OF NOTE
- UNF split the first day of the Divisional games, 0-2, and 5-2 to force a game three. The Ospreys owned a 4-2 record against the Dolphins in the regular season to earn the No. 2 seed in the south.
- Clausen tossed the complete game with eight strikeouts - two shy of her career high. She allowed just five hits and one walk.
- Pfent closes out her season with 14 straight games reaching base and a six-game hit streak.
- Goebel improved her average to .397 and ends the year with an eight-game hit streak.
