Baseball’s Winning Streak Snapped in Loss at FGCU

FORT MYERS, Fla. - A season best five-game winning streak came to a close in UNF baseball's 10-1 loss at FGCU (23-15, 9-4 ASUN) Friday, April 30.

Behind the Line Score
  • UNF (15-17, 8-5 ASUN) threatened with a pair of singles in the first and the second, but couldn't push anything across.
  • FGCU scored three in the second thanks to a walk, error and two doubles inside the third base bag. Roca made a nice snag on a lineout double play to end FGCU's second.
  • North Florida scored one in the fourth after Blake Marabell, Aidan Sweatt and Austin Bogart walked and FGCU starter Mason Studstill uncorked a wild pitch.
  • The Eagles scored four two-out runs in the fifth for a 7-1 lead.
