- Sophomore Robbie Soronellas scored an unassisted goal, sliding a shot inside the right crossbar as he beat the Hatters backline to the ball.
- Neither team scored again, as the teams battled through 110 minutes with just one goal apiece.
- North Florida's best chance to win the game in extra time came from Mirza Nevoric who had a rocket shot saved.

FROM THE MOUTH OF MARINATOS
"We are disappointed. I give Stetson credit. We knew we were going to be in for a battle. The conditions were obviously not ideal, sloppy field, and early on I didn't think we took advantage of what they were giving us and then we started to. We created 10 quality chances. We have to score more goals; it has been our consistent theme. We are five games in and we are disappointed that we can't score more goals because we are definitely working on it. It was nice see Holden step up in keeper and Robbie get a goal. Those moments were good and at the end of the day I am glad we battled to come back and get the goal." - head coach
