Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The North Florida women's tennis team fell to Florida Atlantic, 4-3, Wednesday. The Ospreys split the series 1-1 with the Owls this season. 

The Ospreys were off to a strong start, clinching doubles. Catherine Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo blanked May Kimhi and Louie McLelland, 6-0. The pair are now 11-2 on court one in doubles. 

Lucia Montano and Constanza Gorches followed close behind sweeping Na Kallmunzerova and Katerina Filip, 6-0 in the two slot. Sean Lodzki and Annabelle Davis went unfinished on court three. 

The Owls evened the score, defeating Lucia Montano 6-1, 6-4 in the one slot. FAU took the lead with a 6-3, 6-1, win over Summer Yardley on court five. 

ASUN Player of the Week Gulihur tied the score, 2-2, downing Natalia Boltinskaya, 6-3, 6-4. The junior transfer is now 10-3 in the two slot this season. 

Melilo got the Osprey's final lead of the day, edging Kimhi 4-6, 7-5, 6-1. Freshman Annabelle Davis suffered her first loss of the season, dropping the decision on court six 7-6(7-1), 3-6, 5-7. Gorches fell in the four slot in three sets to end the day. 

North Florida is on the road at Kennesaw State Saturday to continue ASUN Play.
