Jazz Bond hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 52 seconds on the clock, although FIU (5-3) followed up with its own three as North Florida women's basketball (5-4) was clipped by the Panthers, 53-51, Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
Jazz Bond tied her own UNF single-game blocks record, swatting shots eight to go with 30 points and nine rebounds in a remarkable performance.
It's the 19th time in
Jazz Bond's career she's blocked at least five shots, and the second time this year she's reached the 30-point benchmark.
