JACKSONVILLE - For the first time since 2011, North Florida women's basketball sweeps Jacksonville as the Ospreys picked up a 67-56 victory behind four double figure scorers on Sunday afternoon at UNF Arena.

Turning Point
Despite the score getting closer in the second quarter, the 21-5 rout in the opening frame secured the win for the Ospreys. UNF let Jacksonville lead for just over a minute, but from there it was North Florida's game.
INSIDE THE GAME
- After trading buckets early, North Florida kept Jacksonville off the board for the final seven minutes of the frame as UNF went on a 15-0 run to lead 21-5. Erin Wilson scored all five points for JU, while each one of the Osprey players had at least two points, led by Jones' five.
- The tables turned in the second with Jacksonville jumping on an 8-0 run and force a UNF timeout as the visitors closed the gap to 23-13 with 6:19 to play.
- After the break, North Florida used an 11-4 run led by seven points from Bond to push its lead back to 34-19. The Dolphins then hit back-to-back buckets to pull within 34-24 at the half.
- The Ospreys came out of the locker room with another run, highlighted by five points from Jones and a triple from Knights for a 44-28 lead.
- On the other end, Wilson completed a four-point play for the Dolphins hope, but a quick 5-0 jaunt pushed the momentum to the Ospreys as they led 52-36 after three.
- In the fourth it was an 8-3 Jacksonville run to close the gap to single digits twice in the fourth with the final time coming at 57-49.
- Moore hit back-to-back baskets to push UNF back to a double figure lead and the Ospreys went 5-for-6 down the stretch to take the win.
Osprey Fast Breaks
- At the end of the first quarter, every player who saw the floor had at least four points.
- Bond now passes former Osprey Adrienne Jackson in the career record book with 938 points.
- North Florida hit just seven three-pointers, but they were crucial down the stretch. Jones, Bond and Knights each had two.
- Knights earned back-to-back starts this weekend and recorded her first career double-double.
- Jacksonville held a slight edge off the glass, 45-43, but neither team capitalized much on their offensive boards as UNF owned a 9-6 advantage in second-chance points.
- Jones scored eight of her 13 points in the third quarter before falling to foul trouble.
