JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF (3-11) ran into a hot hitting Central Michigan (10-5) team that put up a 10-run fifth inning as the Ospreys dropped the series finale with CMU, 15-5, Sunday, March 8.

Behind the Line Score
- Central Michigan went ahead 3-0 after the top of the third. Zach Heeke and Jakob Marsee singled up the middle before Drew Lechnir bunted them over. Garrett Navarra singled off Dominick Madonna's outstretched hand on a ground ball, scoring one. Madonna made an errant pickoff attempt, scoring Marsee before Zavier Warren drove in one more with another single up the middle.
- UNF cut the deficit to 3-1 in the fourth. Raff Libunao doubled to right center before moving to third on a Ricky Presno infield single. Blake Marabell scored Libunao with a deep sac fly to left.
- The Chippewas benefited from five singles, a double, three walks and an error to score 10 runs in the fifth.
- Back-to-back singles, a productive out from Tanner Clark and a sharply hit two-RBI roller off the CMU first baseman scored Trey Spratling-Williams and Jered Geis in the bottom of the seventh.
- The Chippewas completed their scoring with two runs on three hits and a sac fly in the eighth.
- Marabell plated Libunao again in the eighth, driving in his teammate with a chopper through the left side.
- A pair of fielding errors, one in the infield and another in the outfield, allowed UNF to score one more in the bottom of the ninth.
