JACKSONVILLE - North Florida closes out the regular season at Stetson to determine its seed in the upcoming ASUN Tournament.
SEEDING
North Florida concludes the regular season at Stetson. The Ospreys hold a 5-8 record record away from UNF Arena this season. In 13 road games this season, North Florida is averaging 59.1 PPG compared to 67.7 PPG at UNF Arena. UNF is no longer in contention to host a first-round game in the ASUN Championship but is still battling for the No. 5 seed with a win over the Hatters on Monday.
BUILDING BLOCKS
Bond is 16th in the nation for blocked shots this season with 73 after swatting away seven shots vs. Lipscomb. Her 128 career blocks are tied for 22nd-most in league history after playing only two seasons at UNF. She set the single-game block record with seven against Lipscomb and now holds the Ospreys single-season block record. Bond is 19 swats away from taking over the top career spot.
CRASH THE BOARDS
The Ospreys are the league's top rebounding team during conference games at 39.8 per outing. UNF holds the third-best rebounding margin at +3.7 trailing only Stetson (+5.5) and Liberty (+6.6). In the ASUN, UNF is the only team with three players in the top 10 in rebounds - Adrienne Jackson is second (259), Jazz Bond lands at fourth (226) and Dasha Eremeeva rounds out the group in ninth (169).
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
STETSON (12-16,6-9 ASUN)
- The Hatters lone player in double figures is Day'Neshia Banks with 15.8 ppg, while also topping the team in rebounding, grabbing 7.9 rebounds.
- Megan Vincent sits with 161 blocks in her career, which is most among all active ASUN players. She ranks 14th in league history, while her 48 blocks this season are second-most in the league.
- Stetson is one of the ASUN's top defensive squads, leading the league in opponents FG percentage (35.3). The Hatters rank second in the conference for rebound margin per game at +5.1 and sits second in total RPG with 39.7.
- In the earlier meeting between the teams, Banks and Tippy Robertson scored in double figures.
