JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis extended its home win streak to seven after sweeping Georgia Southern 7-0 Friday.

Valentina Mariotto and
Sean Lodzki blanked Nadja Meier and Hannah Daniel, 6-0, to get the first win in doubles.
Ana Paula Melilo and
Lucia Montano defeated Arianne De Winter and Mila Hartig, 6-1, to clinch the doubles point.
Montano got the first singles win of the day, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 against Paula Boixader. Mariotto, Lodzki and Gorches claimed their matches in straight sets to extend the Ospreys' lead to 5-0, with Lodzki clinching the win for North Florida. Lodzki has now won six of her last seven matches.
In the No. 2 and 5 spots, Melilo and
Summer Yardley, respectively, both came back from a set down to earn the tiebreaker win and secure the shutout for the Ospreys.
North Florida women's tennis stays home Monday, March 2 to host Florida Atlantic.
