Behind the Line Score
- Rutgers strung together four consecutive singles to start the game and benefited on an error in the outfield to take a 4-0 run after one.
- A walk, two singles and a double ignited a five-run second for the Scarlet Knights as they went ahead, 9-0.
- UNF got on the board in the third. Chris Matthias hooked a double inside the third base bag and later scored on a Grant Grodi single through the left side.
- Rutgers plated one more in the fourth. A throwing error allowed Kevin Welsh to reach second to open the frame. Danny DiGeorgio single up the middle to score Welsh.
- Another multi-hit frame, walk and an error allowed Rutgers to go ahead, 12-1, after the top of the fifth.
- Tanner May singled up the box, Trey Spratling-Williams was hit by a pitch and Ricky Presno plated May with a single to center.
- Rutgers made it 14-2 with two more on a triple and two singles in the seventh.
- Blake Marabell doubled to start the ninth and Raff Libunao plated him with a single up the middle for a run in the final frame.
