Lucia Montano downed No. 52 McCartney Kessler to pick up the Ospreys' lone point on the day.
Ana Paula Melilo and Montano defeated Tsveta Dimitrova and Ida Jarlskog, 6-1, to claim the first win in doubles. Florida answered back claiming wins in the two and three slots to secure the opening point.
The Gators (2-2) quickly clinched the win in singles, sweeping slots four, five and six. Montano fought hard to take down Kessler, losing the first set 6-0 before winning in a tie break 7-5 (10-6). Melilo did not go down without a fight, also extending her match against Victoria Emma into a tiebreak, before ultimately losing 6-7, 7-6, 10-8.
North Florida women's tennis returns home Friday, February 21 to host Florida Atlantic.
