JACKSONVILLE - North Florida women's basketball heads across town to take on Jacksonville in the first game of the River City Rumble
1. HERE COMES THE (A)SUN
The Ospreys enter the game on a 14-game losing streak to the Dolphins, last winning January 19, 2013. During that time, UNF has lost five games by 10 points or less, including a six point overtime loss in the 2018 ASUN semifinals.

Senior
Janesha Green became the first player since 2010 to have a double-double with points and assists after recording 10 points and 11 helpers against NJIT (1/11/20). Green leads the team this year with 54 helpers.
3. COME TOGETHER
Three Ospreys rank in the top 10 in total rebounds for the ASUN Conference. In per game stats,
Adrienne Jackson ranks second (151),
Jazz Bond is in seventh (124) and
Dasha Eremeeva rounds out the group in ninth with 106 rebounds.
4. I SAW HER STANDING THERE
Senior
Adrienne Jackson ranks sixth in UNF's Division I scoring and is 13 shy of 800 points - the first player to accomplish the feat since 2015 (
Destinee Smith). The Leesburg native has scored in double digits 12 times this season and owns two 20-point games.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
JACKSONVILLE (9-7, 1-2 ASUN)
- After scoring 28 points on 12-of-13 from the floor, Destiny Marshall was named the ASUN Player of the Week as she led Jacksonville to an 88-67 win against NJIT.
- Marshall is second in the ASUN in scoring with 16.2 points per game and Shakayla Nevitt joins her in double figures with 12.6 ppg.
- Nevitt leads the Dolphins in steals with 32, while JU tops the ASUn in steals per game with 1.3.
- The Dolphins ended 2019 on a four-game win streak before opening ASUN play with back-to-back losses.
