JACKSONVILLE - North Florida women's basketball comes back to UNF Arena for majority of January beginning with NJIT and FGCU, Saturday and Monday, respectively.
1. GEORGIA ON MY MIND
The Ospreys are coming off a 64-55 win over Kennesaw State last Monday. The squad in Blue and Grey finished the game strong with a 24-10 fourth quarter to secure the win.

2. CRASHING THE BOARDS
Three Ospreys rank in the top 10 in total rebounds for the ASUN Conference.
Adrienne Jackson ranks fourth (117),
Jazz Bond is in fifth (114) and
Dasha Eremeeva rounds out the group in eighth with 99 rebounds.
3. FINAL SURGE
When North Florida outscores its opponent in the final frame, the Ospreys are 6-0. UNF has held two opponents to 10 or less points in the final frame - Holy Cross & Kennesaw State.
4. SORRY MISS JACKSON IS FOR REAL
Senior
Adrienne Jackson is racing to 800 career points as she is just 36 shy of the mark. The Leesburg native has scored in double digits 10 times this season and owns two 20-point games.
5. DENIED
Jazz Bond is second in the ASUN in blocks per game with 2.3. In her last game against Kennesaw State, the redshirt junior swatted away four shots. The Murfeesboro, Tenn. native is ranked 21st in the country with 35 blocks on the season. She sits in second in the ASUN behind Stetson's Megan Vincent. Last season she had 55 across 21 games.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
NJIT (3-11, 0-1 ASUN)
- The Highlanders currently have a five-game losing streak, most recently a 67-53 loss to Liberty.
- The Highlanders are second in the ASUN with 4.0 blocks per game.
- Danielle Tunstall leads NJIT with 13.4 points per game and rebounds per game (9.1).
- Kenna Squier is second in scoring for the Highlanders with 9.7 PPG and leads the team in assists (40).
FGCU (15-2, 2-0 ASUN)
- The Eagles have been successful in shooting from long-range, leading the NCAA in three-point attempts (623) and makes (204), led by Davion Wingate's 39 treys.
- Wingate leads the team with her 16.9 ppg.
- Tytiona Adderly ranks fourth in the NCAA in total rebounds with 169.
- FGCU was ranked in the AP Top 25 at the end the non-conference season at No. 25. FGCU and North Florida met in 2018 when the Eagles were ranked 25th and UNF grabbed a, 75-73 win behind Keonna Farmer's 28-point performance.
- The Eagles defeated Liberty, 64-57, to continue their four-game winning streak.
