Wright's Words
"We really thought LIU was a great test and we were just a little bit off [early]," head coach
Kristen Wright said. "We made a lot of unforced errors, so I think the adjustment is just taking care of our side of the court and putting away more balls. We went and talked in-between sets saying, 'hey, we got this," as our confidence wasn't there. But, my message [in the last huddle] was just for them to enjoy having their back against the wall. And again, we have one senior and some of the girls haven't felt this. So, to come out on top and enjoy the pressure, that's the sign of success. We are really taking steps forward and building those bricks for what we want we want to do in the future."
