JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - One would be hard pressed to deliver a great Senior Day gift than a walk-off win, and Saturday the Ospreys (30-20, 11-8 ASUN) did just that, downing Kennesaw State, 3-2, via a pinch hit walk-off sacrifice fly from
Tanner May in the bottom of the ninth May 11 from Harmon Stadium.

Behind the Line Score
- After Chris Berry was hit by a curveball, Wes Weeks walloped a two-run home run to left for a 2-0 run lead in the bottom of the third.
- Both pitchers settled into a groove as Marchese fanned six through five innings and Kennedy set down 12 straight after Weeks' homer.
- Three errors allowed KSU (23-28, 8-12 ASUN) to tie it, 2-2, in the seventh. After a Terence Norman single a Justin Russell grounder to Chris Berry was mishandled. Berry made the play on the ensuing sac bunt before Tyler Tolve lined out to Abraham Sequera. Nick Marchese got David Chabut to dribble a roller back to the mound, but Marchese couldn't handle it, allowing Norman to score. With runners at the corners, Chabut took off for second, drawing an errant throw from Austin Hurwitz while allowing Russell to score.
- Starters Nick Marchese and Ryan Kennedy put forth strong efforts, but the decisions would come from the bullpen.
- Eddie Miller and Brian Exley traded turns with shutdown innings before UNF got to Exley in the ninth.
- David Maberry turned on a high and inside fastball, doubling to left to leadoff the ninth. After being pinch ran for by Alex Hendricks, Alex Reynolds popped out to second. Blake Marabell was intentionally walked, bringing up pinch hitter Tanner May. Hendricks got a great read on a pitch in the dirt, advancing to third before May laced a lineout to left, allowing Hendricks to tag up and score the winning run.
