JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball shut out the visiting Kennesaw State Owls, 2-0, on Sunday to close out the league series.

How it Happened:
- It took just one swing of the bat from Tiffany Lower to give the Ospreys (21-14, 4-5 ASUN) the 1-0 lead in the first. Lower sent the first pitch from Hailey Andrews right over the center field fence.
- North Florida added to its lead in the second when a single and an error put two on with one out. Taylor Engman than singled to left field to bring home Rindy Bryant for the 2-0 lead.
- Sydney Matzko and the Osprey defense were able to keep Kennesaw State (22-19, 7-5 ASUN) at bay even though the Owls threatened in the fifth and seventh innings.
