JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball gave up two games to Liberty, 3-1 and 5-1, on Saturday afternoon at the UNF Softball Field.

How it Happened:
- Clausen and the UNF defense held Liberty to just two hits in the first inning before getting the Flames in order in the next four.
- The Ospreys struck first when Tiffany Lower led off with a triple before Dominica Cocuzza sent a two-out single to score the run.
- Liberty got its bats going in the sixth with a single and a double to put two on before an intentional walk loaded the bases.
- With just one out, UNF got the second on a force at home, but Alexis Erich sent a single to left field to score the run and even the game.
- It was Madison Vie's triple that brought the game-winning run home before the Flames tacked on one more insurance run in the seventh.
- UNF tried to rally in the bottom of the frame as Navia Penrod was able to reach third on a double to left center and third on a ground out, but DiMartino got the final batter swinging to end the threat.

How it Happened:
- Matzko sat the batters down in order through the fourth, but the Flames then figured it out with four runs on three hits.
- Liberty added another in the sixth Kaitlin McFarland hit an RBI double to make it 5-0.
- The Ospreys plated their run in the bottom of the seventh on Megan Woodson's RBI single. Rindy Bryant scored from third after a single of her own and a stolen base before moving on Paige Pfent's hit to left.
- Once again, North Florida left runners on as Cassady got a fly out and strikeout to close the game.
