JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -  North Florida women's tennis looks to bounce back from its loss at Liberty when it hosts its final two regular season matches against Lipscomb and North Alabama on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. UNF plays the Bisons at 5 p.m. before hosting North Alabama for an 11 a.m. match on Senior Day.

ABOUT YOUR OSPREYS
  • North Florida will celebrate Rafaela Gomez and Kinga Gartner on Saturday between doubles and singles play.
  • These matches have a strong impact on postseason seeding as both Lipscomb and UNF sit at 4-1. A win against the Bisons would put UNF as the No. 2 seed in the ASUN Tournament for the third straight season.
  • The Ospreys improved to a 10-match win streak with the victory at Kennesaw State. Unfortunately, ASUN newcomer Liberty snapped the stretch as the Flames picked up the 4-3 win.
  • Constanza Gorches improved to 9-2 in dual matches and remains undefeated in ASUN play as she picked up wins against the Owls and Flames. She is currently 7-1 in the No. 5 spot.
  • North Florida dropped the doubles point for the first time since February 23 when FIU grabbed the opening point of the match. The Ospreys responded the next match though and grabbed the point from Liberty.
  • Valentina Mariotto and Melilo have paired up for seven straight victories in the No. 3 match and now own an 8-1 record and are perfect in league play.
