Osprey Fast Breaks:
  • With a win and a North Alabama win, the Ospreys would host a quarterfinal as the No. 4 seed. It would be the team's highest seed since the 2012 season when UNF earned a No. 4 spot as well.
  • Jazz Bond reached double-figures for the 17th time; Janesha Green recorded her first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Ty Purifoy added to her UNF Division - I single-season record for assists as she now owns 141 on the year.
  • Eight ASUN victories marks the most under Darrick Gibbs and is the highest total since 2012-13 (10).
  • Since becoming eligible to play in December after transferring in from USF, redshirt-sophomore Jazz Bond has been a force down low for UNF. The Murfreesboro, Tenn., native has scored in double-figures 17 of the 18 games she's played in, averaging 16.2 points per contest.
    • Five times she's notched at least five blocks in a contest, and earlier this year her six blocks tied a single-game school record. The forward has been named ASUN Newcomer of the Week three different times this season.

Scouting NJIT
  • NJIT (6-22, 3-12 ASUN) locked up the No. 8 seed with its 58-39 loss to Liberty on Saturday.

  • NJIT has won just one game since January 19. The only conference opponent it swept this season is Lipscomb.
  • In the first meeting against UNF this season, Dez Allen recorded a team-high 13 points off the bench, while Ellyn Stoll added 12 points. Tatianna Torres had eight points, eight assists and eight rebounds.
  • For the game, the Highlanders shot just 32.7 percent and were held to 1-of-9 in the final quarter.
