NASHVILLE, Tenn. - North Florida softball picked up five home runs in the opening game to down Lipscomb, 8-6, before falling in the second game, 3-1 on Saturday afternoon at Draper Diamond.

How it Happened:
- North Florida (20-11, 3-2 ASUN) got on the board with homers from Navia Penrod and Veronika Klimplova in the second.
- Lipscomb (22-12-1, 2-3 ASUN) then took the lead back with a five-spot in the fourth inning.
- It was a short lived lead though as the Ospreys answered back with five of their own runs in the fifth.
- Back-to-back singles put two aboard before Dominica Cocuzza fired her fifth home run of the year over the fence to make it 5-5.
- Later in the inning, Penrod walked before Tiffany Lower stepped to the plate to fire her shot to the left to lead 7-5.
- Cocuzza wasn't done for the game as she hit her second bomb of the day for the 8-5 advantage.
- The Lady Bisons tacked on another run in the seventh, but it was not enough as UNF took the win.

How it Happened:
- Lower hit a solo shot to centerfield to lead off the second inning.
- It was a home run from Lipscomb in the sixth that downed the Ospreys as Jenna Pealor hit a three-run homer to give the Bisons the advantage.
- Yeager surrendered just four hits, two walks and struck out three in her complete game.
