Weeks started the inning off with a hit by pitch, Jay Prather singled to left and Tanner Murphy walked. Another Tanner, this time Tanner May, doubled to left center, plating Prather for a 2-0 advantage. Chris Berry brought Clark in with a sacrifice fly to left center and Alex Reynolds casted a bloop-RBI doubled down the left field line, completing UNF's scoring in the first.
- FGCU got its first hit and run on a solo shot to left off the bat of right fielder Jay Hayes to open the fourth. Kohl GIlmore cut the deficit in half with his own solo shot to right center, cutting it to 4-2.
- Alex Brait singled up the middle with one out, swiped second and eventually scored on a Hayes double down the left field line, narrowing UNF's lead to 4-3 the following frame.
- UNF answered in the bottom of the fifth. Berry grinded out an at-bat before delivering with an inside-out RBI single to left center, scoring Prather. Prather reached with a carbon copy leadoff single through the left side and took second on a Clark walk.
- UNF came up with two big runs in the seventh. Once again, Prather started the frame with a single. Murphy walked before a pair of wild pitches pushed runners to second and third. Clark worked the count to 3-2 before singling to right center, making it 7-3 Ospreys.
- Joe Kinker hit FGCU's third solo home run of the night, a towering home run to left field in the top of the eighth.
- Eddie Miller entered with two out in the eighth, hitting a batter before notching a punch out.
- Miller got a strikeout to open the ninth before walking FGCU's pinch hitter, Elijah Eusebio. Miller got the second out on a pop out, although Brait cued an infield single to third as the Ospreys went to Norkus in the pen.
