Last Time Out:
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Ospreys hit the gas late Tuesday night, and junior
Adrienne Jackson was more than a big reason why. The guard played big, pouring in 20 points while reeling in a career-high 17 boards as UNF (9-11, 4-5 ASUN) erased a halftime deficit to top Lipscomb, 72-66, February 5.
Jackson's 17 rebounds is the most by any Osprey this season and the most since Keonna Farmer brought 20 down off the glass against NJIT February 17, 2018.
Osprey Fast Breaks:
- UNF has had at least one player record a double-double in each of the last six games. During that stretch four different players have reached that mark (Dasha Eremeeva, Jazz Bond, Arianna Emanuel-Wright and Adrienne Jackson).
- Senior guard Ty Purifoy has 199 career assists in just 48 contests at UNF.
- UNF is 6-1 on Tuesdays after the win against Lipscomb, although Saturdays have been particularly tough. The Ospreys are looking for their first win on Saturday this year.
- Jackson neared UNF's first 20-20 game since Paulina Zaveckaite scored 20 and notched 20 boards against USC Upstate February 17, 2018.
- Purifoy is second in the league with 5.2 assists per contest.
