JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Ospreys hit the gas late Tuesday night, and junior
Adrienne Jackson was more than a big reason why. The guard played big, pouring in 20 points while reeling in a career-high 17 boards as UNF (9-11, 4-5 ASUN) erased a halftime deficit to top Lipscomb, 72-66, February 5.
Jackson's 17 rebounds is the most by any Osprey this season and the most since
Keonna Farmer brought 20 down off the glass against NJIT February 17, 2018.

Inside the First Half
The Bisons (2-20, 0-10) came into the game shooting 27 percent from three-point range. They vastly outshot that mark in the first quarter, hitting 6-of-12 from beyond the arc to establish a 21-12 lead after the first 10 minutes.
Freshman
Lauren Gross provided five points off the bench in the second frame, although the Bisons extended their lead to a game-high 13 points with 7:49 left in the second quarter. A Jackson lay-in cut the deficit to 36-30, but Lipscomb responded with a transition bucket followed by an and-one opportunity coming off the backend of the previous score, taking a 41-30 lead into the break.
Inside the Second Half
Lipscomb's good fortune from deep fizzled out at the same time UNF caught its stride in the third quarter. UNF hit nine free throws in 10 trips to the line, getting 10 points from Emanuel-Wright to outscore the visitors 21-9 in the third quarter. A 10-0 run helped the Ospreys take their first lead of the game, a 48-47 advantage at the 2:23 mark.
A short 3-0 burst gave Lipscomb the 53-51 lead one minute into the fourth, but Emanuel-Wright promptly scored four straight to give UNF the lead for good. Jackson stole the show from there, nearly notching a double-double in the fourth quarter alone with nine rebounds and nine points.

Thoughts From the Top:
"This was another great team win! We needed some people to step up and we got it from a couple of different places. We were resilient and battled back together. We continue to grow and get better, and that's exciting." -- Head coach
