Women’s Basketball Begins Second Half of ASUN Slate


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The second half of the ASUN slate gets underway Tuesday when the Ospreys go for a season sweep of Lipscomb at the UNF Arena.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Senior guard Ty Purifoy had a record-setting day for the Ospreys, dishing out a UNF - Division I record 11 assists to set up four double-digit scoring performances in North Florida's 71-60 win at Kennesaw State (5-14, 1-5 ASUN) Tuesday, January 29.

The senior eclipsed the 10 assists she registered at Liberty January 19, tying the previous school record since UNF transitioned to the Division I level in 2006.

Osprey Fast Breaks:
  • Eremeeva tallied her third double-double of the season against Kennesaw State, and first since doing so at Colorado State December 2, 2018. She's second on the team in double-doubles behind Jazz Bond, who has four.
  • Bond scored in double-figures for the 11th time this season despite having her four-game double-double streak snapped.
