BOCA RATON, Fla. - North Florida's success in doubles continued again Sunday, but Florida Atlantic came back to nab four of six singles matches as the host Owls won, 4-2.

Doubles came down to the number one spot. FAU swept number two, but Florencia Rossia and Lucia Montano downed the Owls at three, 6-1. Constanza Gorches and Rafaela Gomez were clutch, breaking a 5-5 tie to win 7-6.

Ana Paula Melilo won her second singles match of the weekend, beating Ja'Cara Gillis, 6-1, 7-5. Gomez rallied from a first set loss to put herself in position to win at number two singles. The match would be left unfinished as FAU's Kristen Thomas clinched at six singles.

Up Next:
UNF returns to Jacksonville to host Bethune-Cookman Thursday, Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. It opens conference play at FGCU Saturday, March 2.

• UNF has won the doubles point in three of its last four matches, doing so against FAU, South Alabama and Florida.
