JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After a slow start, the North Florida women's basketball team exploded for 51 points in the third and fourth quarters and rallied for a 74-66 victory versus Kennesaw State Tuesday night from the UNF Arena.
Arianna Emanuel-Wright and
Jazz Bond combined for 40 points to lead the charge, scoring 21 and 19 respectively.

- UNF has had at least one player record a double-double in seven of the last eight games. During that stretch, four different players have reached that mark (Dasha Eremeeva, Jazz Bond, Arianna Emanuel-Wright and Adrienne Jackson).

- The Highlanders come in with a record of 5-18 overall and 2-8 in the ASUN, tied for seventh place in the league with six conference games left on their slate.
- NJIT is coming off a 61-42 loss to the streaking FGCU Eagles on Tuesday. FGCU shot 33 three-pointers in the loss, converting only three, but it got to the three throw line 12 more times than the host Highlanders.
- Danielle Tunstall is tied-for-fourth in the league in rebounding at 7.9 rebounds per game.
- NJIT has the second-worst three-point field goal percentage in the league at 28.6 percent.
