MADISON, Wis. - North Florida women's basketball opens its season at Wisconsin on Tuesday. It will be the first meeting between the two teams and the third straight season UNF opens on the road.

1. OPEN SEASON
North Florida is looking for its third season opening win under fifth-year head coach Darrick Gibbs. North Florida is 3-11 in Division I season openers with nine of those losses coming against Power 5 opponents.

2. COME ON BACK
UNF returns 61 percent of its scoring from a season ago including Jazz Bond (15.9 ppg) and Adrienne Jackson (10.3 ppg). North Florida averaged 65.2 points per game last season which is its highest offensive output since the 2003-04 season. UNF also shot a Division I-best 40.3 percent from the floor in 2018-19.

3. TOUGH TOLBERT
Redshirt sophomore Tiffany Tolbert will be back on the floor for the Ospreys for the first time since November 18, 2018 when she dropped 21 points on Indiana. She is the active career leader in assists with 84 dishes to her name.

4. THEY LIKE ME
Redshirt junior Jazz Bond was unanimously selected to the ASUN All-Conference Preseason team, while the Ospreys were picked to finish fifth. Bond was named to the 2018-19 ASUN All-Conference second team - just the second Osprey in school history - to earn the accolade.

5. LET'S HIT THE ROAD
For the first time since 2006-07, the Ospreys kick off their season with eight of their first nine games being away from UNF Arena. The Ospreys will have four games of those eight in a neutral site. During the stretch they will travel more than 3,400 miles to play. Under Gibbs, UNF is 20-68 on the road and in neutral games.

SCOUTING WISCONSIN
- The Badgers are coming off a 15-18 season which was the most wins since 2010-11.
- Wisconsin advanced to the Big Ten quarterfinals for the first time since 2013 and won two tournament games for the first time sine 2009.
- Imani Lewis earned All-Big Ten honorable mention by the media. She averaged 12.2 points per game and recorded five double-doubles.
- Wisconsin lost its leading scorer, Marsha Howard, to graduation. She chipped in 14.7 ppg.
- It will be the first meeting between Wisconsin and an ASUN team.
