HUNSTVILLE, Ala. - North Florida women's basketball continue its road swing when it travels to Alabama A&M Wednesday to play the Bulldogs for Elementary Day.
1. LOOK FOR REVENGE
North Florida dropped its game against Alabama A&M at home last year by one point. The Ospreys tied it late in the fourth, but Alabama A&M hit one free throw to go up. A last chance basket rimmed out and then UNF was fouled on the rebound. Neither free throw could fall as the Bulldogs took the win.
Dasha Eremeeva scored a career-high 18 points in the loss, while
Jazz Bond chipped in 13.
2. HOLD ON FOR ONE MORE DAY
North Florida is currently fourth in the nation in turnovers per game, committing just 9.3 miscues per contest. The Ospreys have only had one game with double-figure turnovers and it was against No. 17 Miami.
3. TAKE THE FREEBIES
The Ospreys are currently ranked 25th in the NCAA in free-throw percentage, shooting 79.2 percent from the line. Senior
Janesha Green ranks second in the ASUN with 16 free throws made.
4. LOOKING TO OVERCOME THE WOES
North Florida has only won back-to-back road or neutral games twice since 2014. Last season the Ospreys won at Stetson and then followed with a postseason win at North Alabama. In 2014, it was at UNCW and a neutral game vs. Eastern Kentucky..
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

- The team is shooting just 28.1 percent from the floor and even lower from long range. At the line, AAM hits just 60 percent.
