JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida posted a season-high .317 hitting percentage to make it 11-straight home wins against Bethune-Cookman (7-7)Tuesday, September 18 at the UNF Arena. The triumph gives the Ospreys (5-10) their first sweep of the season heading into conference play Friday.

Behind the Box Score
- Senior Alana Shoff posted her highest kill total in one set on the season, notching six to help propel UNF to a 25-14 win in set one. The Ospreys broke open an 11-9 lead with a 14-5 run to close out the opener.
- Sophomore Madison Donnelly began the second set with her first of three aces as UNF cruised to a 2-0 lead.
- UNF never trailed and led by as many as seven points, committing only four errors against 17 kills in set two.
- Senior Madilyn McCarty dished out 17 assists, sophomore Devyn Wheeler notched seven kills and the Ospreys hit .400 in the third set to secure the sweep.
- B-CU got within one, down 9-8, but redshirt-sophomore Gabby O'Connell rattled off four consecutive kills to help widen the lead and take the set.

Notes
- McCarty surpassed 1,700 assists at UNF in the first set. She is only 33 away from 3,000 if you take into account her freshman season at Winthrop.
- UNF extends their home-winning streak against Bethune-Cookman to 11 matches.
- The Ospreys are now 23-2 all-time against the Lady Wildcats in a series that dates back to 1992. UNF's last sweep of B-CU was at home in 2015.
- The Ospreys held the Lady Wildcats to a .171 hitting percentage. Four of UNF's five wins have come when holding teams below .200 on the attack.
- B-CU only had 32 kills, eight fewer than any other team has tallied against UNF this season.
