JACKSONVILLE – Lipscomb used extra-base hits to defeat North Florida softball, 10-3, on a breezy Sunday morning at the UNF Softball Complex.

- North Florida did not waste any time as it plated three runs in the first inning on four hits. Navia Penrod led off with a single and Kayla McGory followed with one out.
- Dominica Cocuzza then doubled to right center to bring two runs around.
- Tiffany Lower then switched places with Cocuzza when she ripped a hard hit to the middle out of the shortstop's reach to allow Cocuzza to come home for the 3-0 advantage.
- It was short lived as the Ospreys hit into a double play to end the inning. It was also all UNF mustered for the game.
- Lipscomb had two five-run innings in the third and fifth. The Bisons had five extra-base hits including three home runs in the game.
- Chloe Yeager earned her second straight wins in as many starts giving up seven hits, two walks and striking out three.
