JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida's Frank German pitched a career-high eight innings with a season-high nine strikeouts as the Ospreys topped Memphis, 4-1, on Friday night at Harmon Stadium.
LEADING OFF
- Tanner Murphy extended his hitting streak to 12-straight and has a hit in every game but one this season.
- German threw a new career high, eight innings, and was one strikeout away from tying his career-high, 10, from last season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ospreys scored the first run of the game in the second inning off the bat of Jay Prather that drove home Chris Matthias.
- UNF plated three runs in the eighth inning to extend the lead. Chris Berry had a sacrifice fly to right field that plated Abraham Sequera.
- Later in the inning, Blake Voyles doubled to right center that scored Murphy.
- Alex Reynolds ended the scoring in the inning on a groundout that brought in Voyles.
